The animal sanctuary is named after our elder dog Noah, who has always been intensely interested in farm animals. Pig shelters are often called arcs with a c, and we are providing shelter and safety for them, hence Noah’s Arcs.

Noah was at one point the only animal on Noah’s Arcs who did not have a companion of his own kind. His half-brother Joshua came to join us as a puppy.
